Christiane's Story
Christiane Nolton’s legal practice is focused on the representation of both employees and employers in all aspects of employment and civil rights litigation. Christiane’s background of having worked in state enforcement agencies gives her a unique perspective when guiding clients through their most complex labor and employment law issues, from day-to-day workplace disputes to class and collective actions. Christiane works closely with her clients to provide practical advice and innovative solutions for preventing and mitigating any risks arising in the workplace. She also represents clients across industries in cases involving allegations of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, failure to accommodate, breach of contract, and other violations of state and federal law. Additionally, Christiane drafts and litigates the enforceability of restrictive covenants, including non-competition, non-solicitation and non-disclosure agreements.
Prior to joining Squires & Ryan, PLLC, Christiane was an attorney in the labor and employment law practice group of an AM Law 100 firm in Atlanta. Before that she was a clerk at the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office. Christiane grew up in Tennessee and attended both college and law school at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. While in law school, Christiane was a Chancellor’s Scholar and was awarded the Dean’s Leadership Award. Christiane is licensed to practice law in both Florida and Georgia.
